Abstract :
For the education system to function properly, both public and private schools must comply with educational standards and obligations which guarantee the level and quality of education. Given the scale of private education in DR Congo, the study sought to check whether all these schools are organized in accordance with educational standards and whether they meet the conditions favorable to education quality. The study revealed the lack of knowledge by school heads of the hierarchical structures, standards and sanctions provided for in terms of the organization and operation of approved private schools, which encourages non-compliance with these standards. The difficulties encountered by school heads in the management and operation of their schools were noted and concrete proposals were formulated to solve this issue, both at the level of private school promoters and at the level of the government
